LNL aims at increasing the quality of life and increasing the energy saving with its smart environment solutions.

Smart environments can be thought of being everywhere from macro structures such as bridges, roads, shopping malls etc. to micro structures such as homes and offices. In all of these places, we offer sensor based and mixed signal solutions for energy saving, optimization and automatic control.

LNL smart environment development platform is based on three main modules:

• Smart Sensor nodes
• Communication infrastructure ( Wired or wireless devices)
• Decision centre

Sensor nodes are used for monitoring the environment and they provide the raw information to be further processed by our decision centre.

Communication infrastructure involves the medium and the protocols that the sensor nodes communicate to each other and the decision centre.

Decision centre is the main embedded computer where LNL's Data Fusion Software (DFS) runs. It controls the actuators, takes decisions about the state of the system and enables the user to monitor the environment. Its operating system is LX-Linux.
